PROJECT: CITY SQUARE PERTH

Australia’s largest electric luffing crane working at Brookfield Multiplex City Square Site in Perth.

The crane as shown in the photo is working with HUH of 92m with only “one” tie in to the structure. The crane will ultimately be climbed to 256m tall on this project with the crane expected to be removed late in 2011.

D&G also have 2 x Potain MR295H20 tonne cranes working on the site providing lifts to the structure.

Working on the site directly behind the Potain MR615 crane are two x twin Alimak 650 range FC31/39S high speed non counterweighted Alimak man and material hoists also supplied by D&G. The hoists are capable of travelling at speeds of up to 100m per minute.







PROJECT: KNOXVILLE OFFICE BUILDING PERTH

PLATFORM: PRESTON LOADING PLATFORMS

Diploma Construction “Knoxville Office Building” Hay St Perth. D&G have supplied a Potain MCR225 crane erected on an existing two level carpark.

The crane is erected on a ballasted Chassis which sits on a Grillage transferring loads to structural columns down to the ground.

The Potain crane is erected with a 55m jib providing lifts around the site.

D&G have  also supplied  a new twin Alimak Scando 650 25/32TD and Preston Loading Platforms to the site.









PROJECT: ELEVATION APARTMENTS PERTH

HOIST: 2 X ALIMAK FC28/37C HIGH SPEED
PLATFORM: PRESTON LOADING PLATFORMS

BGC “Elevation Apartments” site at 239 Adelaide Tce Perth. D&G have supplied a Potain MR295H20m crane located at the front of the site and a Potain MCR225 crane at the rear of the site.

Several site based difficulties had to be overcome with crane two, In the early stages of the works the crane was erected with a 30m jib and freestand without ties to 57m using 2m “L” type mast, once the structure reached 40m the crane was tied, jib extended to 45m and then the crane will climb to full height under normal conditions.

Both cranes will reach 110m in heights. Crane one will remove crane two, then crane one will jack down and be removed from the road way.

D&G have also supplied a twin Alimak FC28/37C high speed man and materials hoist and Preston loading platforms to the project.



PROJECT: WESTRALIA APARTMENTS PERTH

HOIST: 2 X ALIMAK SCANDO 20/32TD
PLATFORM: PRESTON LOADING PLATFORMS

Doric “Westralia Apartments” St Georges Tce Perth. D&G have erected a Comedil CTL400 to 72m HUH with one tie to service loads on site, erected with a 50m jib the crane can raise 8t at 50m.

D&G have also supplied an Alimak twin 20/32TD man and materials hoist and Preston Platforms to the site.

The site is next door to Brookfield Multiplex City square where in the photo you can see a Potain MR295H20 working.
